Welcome to ModelQ! This community was built with one thing in mind: to create a place for professional collaboration for modeling industry pros like you. As with all professional networks, maintaining a positive and safe environment is very important to us.
Our guidelines are meant to provide an overview of the behavior we expect from everyone on ModelQ.
If you have any feedback please email us at community@modelq.com.
1. ModelQ community manager has the right to deny or delete any profile in violation of any of the following:
• Networking for adult content including pornography
• Copyright violations of any kind
• Submitting or maintaining a profile that represents or claims to be someone other than you
• Falsifying identity, photos or information
2. Your profile must clearly fit into one of the categories listed below. If it does not match the classification you have selected, this could prevent you from being accepted into ModelQ.
• Model
• Photographer
• Makeup Artist
• Hair Stylist
• Hair Salon/Studio
• Retoucher/Photo Editor
• Photo Studio
• Clothing Designer
• Fashion Stylist
• Talent Agency

3. Do not falsify. ModelQ abides by all copyright laws to eliminate imitation. If the content you have submitted appears to be someone else’s, we will reject your application or remove your profile. If the information that appears in your Bio does not match the other aspects of your profile, such as Experience, Photos or Measurements this is also a no-no and we may remove your profile.
4. Tell us about yourself. A brief biography is required for all users. This is your chance to talk about yourself, your career, expertise, needs and experience. However, including links to profiles on other social networks is not allowed. Please do not insert any personal contact information (phone number or email) into your bio, as this section will be viewable by other members on the site. For models, you are required to list accurate and complete measurements, including height, weight, dress size, etc. These statistics should be precise and completed in full for booking purposes.
5. Members must be 18 years of age or older. Members under 18 are required to have a parent or guardian contact ModelQ Support and speak with a team professional prior to completion of application for approval.
6. High-quality images, please. Your photos will be judged by a panel of industry experts on their quality and professionalism. Although aspiring models are welcome, and photos do not need to be taken by a professional photographer or photography studio, they must still be clear, quality snapshots, including an image of your face and full body. Cropped, grainy, cell phone and skewed photos do not qualify.
7. Keep your clothes on. Our members come from various cultural backgrounds and experiences. Therefore it is unacceptable to post or request sexually explicit images in anyway offensive. This includes inappropriate photos, nudity or distasteful material of any kind. All forms of nudity, regardless of artistic intent, are prohibited from ModelQ. Implied and censored nudity of an artistic, tasteful nature is acceptable. If you see explicit or offensive content on the site, we advise you to report the content by selecting the “Report Abuse” button. If one of your images is reported, it is at the discretion of the committee to act accordingly
8. Portfolio Requirements. Your portfolio should depict you or your work. Quality images are expected as mentioned above. Please show diversity and range in your photos and include at least five images in your portfolio.
9. Be courteous and positive. You are expected to maintain a collaborative, helpful tone when posting on ModelQ. Opinions, insights and vibrant commentary are all welcomed – but letting it escalate into rants against other members, ModelQ staff goes against the values of our company and this community. Please avoid doing that.
